Yesterday Oreo had 2 babies! The gray one seems perfectly healthy and moving about already. The black one was found wedged in between the bars on the bottom of the nursing cage. It seems as though mom was not able to nurse it properly over the past day. We immediately force-fed him and are now taking extremely good care of him. Hopefully it's not too late!
Update 12/11:
Both babies seem to be doing just fine. We are still force feeding the black one twice a day. At first, they were always cold and constantly roaming the cage. We moved the little guys to a much warmer place in the house and now they stay in the nest safely cuddled together. This has been a learning experience for all of us.
Update 12/12:
Unfortunately, the little guy didn't make it. We tried our best. The big guy seems to be doing well. He's extremely active and won't sit still for more than a few seconds.
