Renter Resources

Thanks for choosing to garden with us!  Gardening is hard work and we will support you however we can.

Here are the basics:

  • Plots are available in 10'x10' or 10'x20'.  Plots will be accessible to renters May 1 through December 1.

  • Water tanks are provided, but water can not be guaranteed.  We work with the local fire department to fill these tanks at their convenience.  Be prepared to provide your own water.

  • We strive to maintain a high standard that will keep the property beautiful.  We will maintain common areas, but the plots are your responsibility.  If a neighbor is neglecting their plot, please let us know and we will contact them to address your concern.

  • Plants, trellises and fencing must be kept under 4'.  Corn is not permitted.  Tall items may shade your neighbor. Please be aware of how your plot effects others.  Violations will be removed.

  • A signed rental agreement and waiver for all participating gardeners is required.

  • To apply for a plot, print and fill out the Rental Application and Waiver links below.  Drop them off at the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry along with check or cash for rental fees.  We will contact you once application is processed to schedule a meeting on-site to discuss exact plot location and answer any questions.

  • Tilling may be provided for an additional $25 per plot.  This can be arranged directly through Garden Manager Tim.
